ViSoft

ViSoft is a German software company serving enterprise clients across manufacturing and logistics verticals. Raccoon Soft became their primary engineering partner in 2019, taking over backend development and ongoing feature delivery across multiple product lines.

The challenge

ViSoft needed to scale their engineering output without the overhead of building a large internal team. Existing codebases were fragmented — different stacks across projects, inconsistent testing, and no unified deployment pipeline.

Our solution

We embedded a dedicated team of 4 engineers (2 backend, 1 frontend, 1 QA) who work alongside the ViSoft product owner. We standardised on Java / Spring Boot for backend services, introduced CI/CD via GitLab, and progressively refactored legacy modules. Delivery cadence: bi-weekly sprints with weekly sync.

→Refactored core logistics module (reduced average response time by 60%)
